At Corpus Christi, as throughout the Roman Catholic Church we welcome adults and older children into our shared life of faith through a process of discovery called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This is a journey of personal discernment for individuals who desire to become disciples of Jesus the Christ as members of the Catholic Church.
The process, which takes several months of study and prayer, is open to all: those who have not been baptized or participants in any other religious tradition, those who were baptized in another Christian tradition, and those who have been part of any non-Christian religious tradition. Adults already baptized in the Roman Catholic Church who have not completed the Sacraments of Initiation:(Confirmation and/or First Holy Communion) are also welcome into this process.
Throughout the time of preparation we seek to create a welcoming small group setting and provide an overview of our faith and the core teachings of the Church. Our sessions begin in the fall, lead to a joyous Easter Vigil celebration and continue into late spring.

Inquiry Sessions about the Catholic Faith Do you have a friend or family member who is curious about Catholicism? The RCIA team offers open sessions for any adults interested in finding out more about what it means to be a Catholic Christian. A member of the team will be available regularly throughout the year to respond personally to any interested individuals - days and times are flexible to meet, as best we can, the needs of any who inquire. These sessions are designed for persons who are exploring their own spiritual journey even though they mights not be ready to commit to a formal process of entry into our faith community; any and all questions are welcome.
