Emergency Management

In addition to serving the various spiritual needs of the parish, Corpus Christi has a Safety and Security Committee and Action Plan that strives to identify and manage various emergencies that could surface, especially when facilities are occupied. They range from rendering basic first aid and defibrillator resuscitation to interventions during adverse weather, wildlife intrusions, and other contingencies that could pose a hazard to parishioners, staff, and/or visitors.

To that end, we offer training sessions during the year to improve awareness as well as the skill sets needed to respond to various situations.  The last session was held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 and covered Bleed Control.  Watch the bulletin for information on future activities.

Additionally, in early 2019 we installed the first phase of a comprehensive access control and video surveillance system to improve safety and security in and around the parish campus.

For more information on any of the above, contact the Office or Jimmy Stewart at (520) 247-2464 (hemi05x2@yahoo.com).
